So, I guess I spoke too soon and had too high hopes for my piecer car. Third trip to town today, it started running rough and smoking. Turned around to go back home and in about three blocks the temp gauge went up considerably. Stopped the car, opened the hood, poured water on the radiator, got it open and it was dry dry dry. It took almost a gallon of water to refill it, due to the bubbling up, but finally cooled it down enough to drive it home. It was fine but there is a strange noise in the engine now when its idling. I am afraid to go to town with it again. I was on my way to buy some potting soil and seeds for my empty new garden. and some deck paint for my ghetto deck. Guess thats out. Here I sit, trying hard not to cry, and not knowing what the heck Im gonna do for wheels.
