So I guess in the midst of the news of Robin Williams I will post a new piece. Something to remember. Being an artist is tough. You are always being judged. Being and artist as busy as Robin Williams it is really easy to loose yourself in characters and phony people. With all the money and fame its hard to ask for help. I feel for you. I feel you. What is the end What does it feel like What does it sound like Is it failure Or is it satisfaction Are you giving up If you come to terms with it Or is it time When you are content Is it selfish to be “done” When others still need you Or will the hole you leave Help them to become satisfied in themselves Lessons learned through departure Seem to be the deepest Will you truly be missed Or just the idea of you The world is unforgiving Are we naïve to think we matter The smoke opens my mind But complicates it Exhale
