So I had an unusual day today. I went on the Joe Rogan podcast! A couple of things to note: 1. Joe is a true coffee enthusiast. Hes got a swell conical burr grinder, TWO really nice Breville kettles, and a bunch of brewing gear. His colleague made a delicious French Press of a Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters Yirgacheffe. Truly tasty. 2. Joe was more gracious than nearly any radio or television personality Ive ever worked with. Ive done a few of these kinds of things over the years, and I was surprised: there was none of the stuff weve come to expect from media stories on coffee. He had genuine interest and good humor. 3. If you go and visit the Rogan studio ever, be warned: there is a GIANT stuffed werewolf in attack position in the antechamber as soon as you open the door. It scares the crap out of you.
