I asked the officer if he felt it was truly $300 to haul horses 20-30 miles & he said yes. Hrmmm, okayyy. Then when he stated that they arrested me over intentionally injuring a paint horse by refusing vet care I asked him specifically if the vet spoke to me or one of my boarders regarding the particular horse & he tried to say me until I presented the letter from the vet & rephrased the question for him. Then it was suddenly the vet had mentioned it to a boarder. The icing on the cake was when he told the judge, and I quote, She claims to be a Rescue but she buys the horses at an auction in this condition. Okay so I dont go seizing & taking free horses, I get skinny or sick ones that are on death row & you are frowning on me for doing it? I really dont understand people & what drives them to be the way they are.
