So I had my first ever Epic Pinterest Fail today! On hard boiled eggs, of ALL things!!! Who the heck manages to screw up hard boiled eggs?!?!? Apparently ME! THAT takes a special kind of talent now! ;) My son needed a dozen hard boiled eggs to take to school & color with his class tomorrow. I thought Id try that cool little Pinterest trick & BAKE them in the oven instead, so they wouldnt crack. Well, as you can see, it didnt go so well.... I heard this big loud POOF!!! & actually saw the oven door rattle, a if there had just been a little mini explosion in the oven, right? Well, after inspecting the broiler & inside of oven & finding no problems, I let the eggs finish baking. When the timer went off, I took them out & theyre all speckled!!! Seriously, seriously SPECKLED!!! And my oven is clean, so Im CLUELESS as to what took place inside my oven while my eggs were baking!!! LOL! So needless to say... I have ANOTHER dozen eggs boiling on top of the stove, the old fashioned way, in a big pan of boiling hot water, so my son doesnt have to take SPECKLED eggs to school tomorrow! #justmyluck #EpicPinterestFail
