So I had this great idea that I would save a couple bucks and change my brake pads myself today. Bought a couple tools I would need and around 5pm after a day of rain, headed out to play mechanic . Three hours later, a new floor jack, a new air impact wrench, a set of impact sockets and a couple odds and ends, I spent more then it would have cost just to have a mechanic do it. Not to mention the three hours it took to do. On the upside I have more tools that Im almost certain I wont need for or until the next brake job in a couple years. Oh, and a couple busted knuckles and brake fluid all over my driveway.
