So I had this thought today, walking around, that the media NEVER shows normal life here. On a regular day, people of all shape, size, ethnicity, Jews, Arabs, Christians, religious, secular, milling about, getting on with their day. (This is near the central market.. the Souk, or Shuk).. It is good to be reminded that most days, most people are just trying to get through their day. And yeah you go home to the news and concerns, but life goes on here. And the smells and sounds are fabulous (oh God, the smells of fresh pastries and pita..so good.....) So I thought Id share this, blissfully boring video - no hysteria - no violence, a minute and seven seconds in Jerusalem, because youll never see this on the news.
