So I had to drive all the way to the Mexican hood to get an iced coffee because the coffee is better there AND buy one get one free. Before you complain that I called the neighbourhood Mexican you should know that the signs are all in Spanish and there are Mariachi bands that play on the corner. Anyway, traffic was stopped on all 4 sides of a busy intersection because a Chihuahua was loose and evading capture. There were FIVE police officers in overlarge mickey mouse types gloves chasing the dog around. The Chihuahua was clearly winning. Then a motorbike policeman pulled up next to me and said Is that a cattle dog? as he pointed to Bechely who was hanging out of the window panting from the heat. Yes he is, would you like some assistance? So i let the dingo out of car and told him to go round up the Chihuahua. He promptly sat down in the shade and panted. Bechely so helpful as usual. I knew what I had to do, Fine, if you go get the dog, you get my coffee. He was out of there like a shot and chased the Chihuahua towards 2 policemen who grabbed him. Everyone was clapping, and the dingo loves applause so he asked to be pet by everyone. I lost a large hazelnut decaf iced coffee today but a dog was saved.
