So, I have a problem Id like to address and get some information on. I have been trying to have plants in and out of our home ... But even after watering them well, they die. Ive thought it was just that I wasnt doing a good job. I have tried growing tomatoes and other things and they look sick the tomatoes look like they have a fungus growing on them. Also, when Ive used water in the baby bottle warmers, there is gross brown stuff left and it smells bad. Its our water!!! I never drink it, when we moved in I could taste how gross it was and havent drank it since. I am so sad that I have been giving it to my dogs after seeing what its doing to our plants. How is this ok? We live in Draper, a very nice area, so why is our water full of toxins and whatever else is in it? Its house water, it should be safe to consume and use for plants. What can we do about this? Can I make a complaint with the city water? We shouldnt have to spend a ton of money on a home filtration system either. Also, just a little added information. Our appliances like the steam cleaner, rice cooker, humidifier etc mention to use filtered water ... They obviously know that tap water leaves behind stuff that will ruin the machines.
