So I have a question Im currently in the process of swapping motors into my 94 22RE single cab (using block from my 87) but Im still using the same head, intake and EFI from 94. Ive been wheelin this truck hard for the last couple years, the O2 sensor is long gone, wires melted to exhaust.... upon working on pulling the wire harness i see about 6 - 8 wires just hangin down & stuck to the exhaust.. l pull them back to the last usable connector and cut them off clean. Anyone with experience have any valuable opinions on this? Like I said its been melted for a while & the truck ran fine before, but I figured cuttin the wires back clean would at least prevent shorting out from them openly contacting each-other
