So I have a story to tell and some people to thank. And I slightly regret not doing it sooner. On Sunday, I awoke and was making my way downstairs when I fell, smashing my tailbone on 4 steps on the way down. The pain was intense and to the point I needed an ambulance and a hospital visit. After Xrays and spending most of the day in a hospital bed, Im fine. Im lucky I have no breaks, no other damages to my back, neck, internal organs, etc. Just a bruised tailbone. I want to thank: NSW Ambulance Service, for their fast response to getting to me, their amazing personalities in the way they tried to joke to get me to laugh and take my mind off things and actually making me feel taken care of. Also for popping your heads back in to see how I was holding up a few hours later- amazing! The staff at Nepean Hospital, you were kind, caring and exactly what I needed. You made sure I was comfortable and that everything was fine. While your nurse was a little rough, she did hang around the room and was fast assisting other patients as well as me. Stoo Ortiz, I am still glad you were home. You were great at responding when I needed help. Even to the point of pushing my hair back when I threw up. I know how gross that is. But I really do appreciate it. And also the ride home. Josh Wozniak, making me laugh, making fun of me, I needed it. And to know you were there for me as soon as you heard made me feel loved. Emma Nicole Howard, for being worried and caring. Youre so cute. Jarrah Andrews and Brock Alewood, for pulling the piss out of me left, right and centre. I strangely appreciated it because it made it more of a joke than how serious it could have been. I think thats all I wanted to thank... and the rest of you can now have a laugh at what a klutz I am. I still giggle at how funny it would have looked and regret not catching it on camera :P
