So I have been learning a lot since weve recently started - TopicsExpress

So I have been learning a lot since weve recently started implementing Bureau Surveys. We initially started with a quick survey during the Black Mass cancellation by Harvard and how it seemed to impede on the freedom of speech/religion. Weve recently collected data for our second Bureau Survey where we asked participants what did have they learned from watching paranormal shows, what knowledge was confirmed to them that they already knew, and what kind of information did they disagreed with. Creating surveys is a new area that we are entering in, however, I believe it has a lot of potential in helping is understand this field a lot more. The potential for learning has no limits. One thing that, weve realized after Bureau Survey #2 was done, was what kind of demographic we are targeting, how that is critical in what kind of questions we are to ask. This particular one was based on media and paranormal TV shows. One of the questions we asked was, which show did the participant find most educational. Paranormal State received the highest amount of votes as being the most educational paranormal show. This, however, is a problem since we promoted this survey on our own Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. Naturally, this would create this view point since these individuals are fans of our show. It makes you question what kind of results we would have received if this survey went out towards the Ghost Hunter/Ghost Adventure fan bases. Therefore, it goes without saying, but I will say it anyway, we CANNOT, and ARE NOT stating that Paranormal State is the number one voted show when it comes to the question, which one is the most educational. Now, with my team of volunteers, we analyzed the written submissions where we asked, what we asked individuals about what they had learned from watching paranormal shows, and one of the top answers was that people learned how dangerous a ouija board can be. This is interesting because then it raises another question for the paranormal community to think about. Is there any difference between a group of people using a ouija board vs a group of people using an audio recorder to try to communicate with the spirit world? What do you guys think? Lets try to keep calm and understand that we may have a difference in opinions, and thats ok. I wish Facebook would let you upload a PDF file, but I have other plans on how to share some of the graphical data with everyone. That will be saved for later on this week. I just need to make sure the transfer in the quality of picture to video is good enough to be posted. Thank you for reading, Sergey P.
