So, I have been quiet on this subject until now.... Everyone has their own opinion about what happened in that elevator, did she hit her head or did he punch her, whether or not the video was altered, what has or has not happened before or after the incident, why she married him after the incident blah blah blah... The fact is we dont know other than from what we can see on the videos and assume otherwise. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and whether I agree with yours or not really doesnt matter to me. What grinds my gears is that the wife is outraged that there is media publicity about it and people with opinions. Lets face it, the moment you and your husband decided to have a domestic dispute in a public place you made your decision to make your own beds and now you need to lie in them and accept the consequences. Youre husband is a public figure who makes money off of not only a sport but being a role model to kids, activist against anti-bullying etc... You cannot seriously think that something like this happens and it is not going to be talked about and their are going to be no negative repercussions. Yes, it is your personal life but when you take on the role of a rolemodel/icon/famousperson etc you can pretty much kiss that privacy goodbye. Is it right? Is it wrong? Unfortunately it is our society so that doesnt matter. I hope both of them get the help they need and can move on with their lives... #endrant
