So I have been saying that I would really like to have a cat. I suppose I have never stressed what kind of cat. Yesterday afternoon my son and I watched in quiet wonder, from our open sliding back doors, as a large beautiful bobcat sauntered into our yard, had a nice leisurely poop in a corner under our mesquite tree (exactly where my husband saw this a couple of months ago while was out BBQing!). Then she wandered onto our deck area and simply stood looking around - not even 10 ft away from us - , and then slowly ambled off to the other side of our yard to wander around in our thick wall garden. She was clearly comfortable in our space...and has been here many times. (Yes, Jack, that is why you dont get to go out alone!). So I guess we are sharing space with a lovely BOBcat :-) Wasnt quite what i meant...but I love that too
