So I have been tying flies like mad to fund some major repairs to my truck getting it ready to haul Curtiss fat butt and the bass boat all around tarnation this year... Got it all fixed up and my wife took it to Jiffy Lube to get the oil changed and to get a safety inspection. The genius who performed the safety check told us that the very thing we had fixed was bad and that we needed a repair. Believe me... He was certified to fail us. He reminded my wife of this several times. Long story short... Jiffy Lube sucks. We took the truck to our mechanic just to double check and it was 100% fine. They finally relented to pass the safety inspection after our mechanic ripped them up and down on the phone... I hated Jiffy Lube before this due to them scamming about every person that walks in to the place (see link), but my wife still loved the convenience. Well, she hates them now too.
