So I have been working on a new nutrition coaching program and as I like to do, I have been spending some time contemplating my nutritional philosophy. I just dont care. I dont care what piece of research you have to show me. I am well versed in a good chunk of research but I will never know it all. I guarantee that you can find a hand picked piece of research that confirms your thoughts. I dont care if you want to become a vegetarian. Some of the leanest and healthiest people I have ever met are vegetarians. Like wise I have met just as many people who are just as lean and just as healthy and only eat veggies when they are forced to. You wanna try low carb? Go for it. You wanna try low fat? Go for it. Here is what I do care about though. I care about you. I care about what is working for you right now. As soon as we figure it out, we will go with it. It might be low carb. It might be low fat. Those things work for some people. And for others it doesnt. I care about what works for you and in a few weeks when you adapt to that we will see how you adapted. We will see what works now. What small changes do we need to make to keep making you healthier and moves you towards your goals. Those are the things I care about. That is my philosophy. Experimentation, assessment, adjustment.
