So, I have decided that, in honor of all whove supported Shattered Stars (or shall do so later), I will open a Sweepstakes drawing, and the details are simple. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive $100 dollars cash prize, to be delivered by the author himself or mailed through regular post, depending on distance and timing. In addition, this winner will receive an honorary mention in the Forward of the Shattered Stars: Vanguard, an autographed, first edition copy of the novel, and the chance to have a character of their own creation appear in the novels sequel. Five (5) runner-up winners will receive honorary mentions in the Forward of the novel and signed copies of Shattered Stars: Vanguard. The drawing will take place upon completion of Shattered Stars: Vanguard, before the work is submitted to the publishers for print. To ensure fairness, the author, Kenneth Simpson, will record the drawing and post the aforementioned video on the official Shattered Stars Facebook page. The following are the rules and guidelines to be eligible for this contest. 1. All participants must be supporting members of Shattered Stars. To do this, simply Like our official page on Facebook. Please note that liking links and stories, while supportive, does not count for this. 2. Participants must have a valid Facebook account and a valid mailing address. 3. Family and friends of the author and Shattered Stars Facebook page admins ARE eligible, as are the admins themselves. 4. Should we reach five hundred (500) fans before the completion of Shattered Stars, the number of runner-up winners chosen will increase to ten (10). 5. Anyone attempting to bribe or rig the drawing will be instantly disqualified and blacklisted. Sorry, but the author will be doing this right down the middle, no matter who you are. Again, this drawing will occur following the completion of Shattered Stars: Vanguard so that winners can be chosen BEFORE the novel is submitted for publishing. So, good luck, everyone!!!!
