So I have never seen a hummingbird eat a bug, but the other day Goldie was hanging out in the bush next to me so I was snapping pictures. She would shoot almost straight up and come right back to her perch. I thought she was just doing it because I was so close, but I was going through my photos today and realized that she was catching bugs. LOL First shot you can see the bug hanging out of her beak and second one her cleaning it off with her tongue and the third all clean again. See something new everyday!
