So I have not been doing the whole November Thankful thing.... keep thinking about it but.... well here goes.. 1. Thankful for a compassionate husband Michael Shay who has not once lost his cool with me over this darn injury/ surgery and now rehab (going on 6 mths now) ... even on days I lost it myself.... 2. For helpful parents Sandy Carter Tom Carter and kids Sevanne Shay Cody Shay Christopher Shay who have helped with cooking, cleaning and driving me all the places I have needed to go... 3. For friends who have brought or sent meals, or called or emailed and kept my spirits up on a bad day or made me laugh. 4. For a heck of a trainer for pony crazed kid. Kid may not say much Jennifer Schmidt Pigue but she loves you and has learned a ton. Without you there would not be a princess pony either... 5. For an awesome staff at Bone and Joint clinic and a great hand surgeon Dr. Wurth and Hand therapist. 6. For 3 great dogs,,, and 2 cats that have kept me company the past 5 wks :) 7. That college applications for Cody are almost done.. 8. for an awesome God and Savior 9 For a great Cousin Paula Barmore who has patiently answered tons of pony questions and posts such inspirational posts each morning. 10. For a great group of girls for my daughter to ride with Tess Deegan Hallie McKinnie Mary Claire Crabtree Amy Chandler Kyra Shuler 11.For parents who have helped my kid realize her horsey dreams. 12. For chocolate 13. for my head aches that are mostly gone except with weather changes...
