So I have put a lot of thought into this idea, and I realize that a lot of preparation and issues need to be taken care of before I actually decide to do this. Everyone knows I enjoy retro videogames, consoles, and assorted items and when I buy a lot of gaming items, I only resell for my cost plus shipping, I guess you could call it non-profit rehoming haha. Well once I make what I have initially invested in the items, I find people who are in the military and give the rest of it to them while I eat the shipping cost. My idea is to start a non-profit type deal where people donate unused, lightly used, unopened items such as tablets, laptops, gaming items, etc... and ship them to our military men and women overseas, those who have been wounded, etc. The way I see it is that they are over there fighting for our rights, putting their lives on the line every single day, so we may enjoy ours. Not everyone in the military can afford a laptop or a tablet, which will allow them to connect with their families back home, so why not donate something that isnt being used? Any thing the page brings in will be shipped directly to military personal so that they may enjoy it as soon as they get it. Nothing will be for personal use, as Im not a selfish person. I have personally shipped 40 plus items overseas to people in the military so that they may enjoy themselves on what little downtime they have. It may not be much but its better than nothing. Also, any one who donates should include a letter of thanks for their service or something along those lines. It may be their personal choice that caused them to enlist, but its because of them that we are able to enjoy what little liberties we have.
