So I have recently read an article about a transgender person using the bathroom, and a person complained and the person was told they couldnt use that type of bathroom again and was told to go to another bathroom. I honestly dont know how I feel about that. I personally would not mind a transgender woman who wants to be a man using a stall in the mens restroom, but I cant speak for everyone and how they would feel. But alot of ideas started coming to my mind.....why would people be against the idea of a man becoming a woman ? or a woman becoming a man. So here are the reasons I came up with for why this transition could cause problems. I included several articles of current situations that occur from a transgender relationship with a straight person. Again I know this is not ALWAYS the case, but think about this. If a person can FULLY change their gender on their licence, get surgery and also make their appearance through hormones completely believable....and in their mind they TRUELY believe their that gender, what is stopping them from not telling their current partner the truth ? Why would they need to ever tell the truth and just conceal their original gender. How would you feel being lied to ? Im not saying it should or should not be legal to do this change, but Im just showing one possible problem that COULD come from it. Im currently on the fence about this issue, I hope I have not offended anyone that is my friend. But everyone should be able to share their ideas or thoughts without ridicule. Thanks for reading.
