So I have sat in silence for a while now on this Ferguson riots for a while now. Reports say the cop was hit by Brown and he shot the young man 6 times. Before I get any this is white vs Black or any of that Bullshit. To me this is more of a Police officer committing an act that is out of place in the Jurisdiction of law. Yes the young man may have committed crimes. But no matter what an Officer of the law should never kill a man over crimes unless he feels his life is threatened. Now before folks get all pissy and defend the cop and say he was threatened. So this is where I say you are wrong. The assailant was unarmed. So if he did show signs of aggression then the officer should have restrained the assailant. Maybe shoot him in the leg or a shoulder. Once he is on the ground maybe restrain him if he attempts to get back up maybe Mace him or tase him. Then Cuff him. Murder should never be an option for a cop. To serve and Protect is what they are here for. Execution does not belong in that category.
