So I have so much to say and this is in my distress of Phillip Hughes death :( My family is a huge cricketing one. My heart goes out to Sean Abbott and all those close to Phil. But as I watch all these reports I see how much sport did for him as well. He was a gentleman of a gentlemans sport. A sport that, in part, contributed to the well rounded gentleman he is reported to have become. All sport has massive risks. So far 2 of 3 of my kids have chosen risky sports, but there is no way I would stop or discourage them. For as far as I am concerned the gain far outweighs the risks and to become half the man that Phillip Hughes was would have to be a privilege to anyones parents. So fly high Romee, get better soon Darcy and kick some goals, and swim swim swim my Alfie boy. And Phillip - may you be swinging your bat harder and higher for sixes that now reach the stars.......
