So, I have this couple who comes in to my job every Monday night for dinner...they arent the nicest or happiest people in the world, but tonight the man was by himself...& I asked where his wife was. And he told me she was in the hospital with stage 4 cancer and looks at me like he was waiting for an answer... I swear this man just turned my whole night around and reminded me that everyone we come in contact with is fighting a battle we know nothing about...from here on out Im going to try to greet people with kindness, regardless of how Im feeling...& pray for this woman who I dont know. Be well people.
