So I have three different friends whose families are dealing stage 4 cancer as I type this...knowing all too well what they are facing just breaks my heart in to pieces. It has been 18 years without my mom, who I lost when I was 18. There is not a day that goes by in which she is not in my thoughts. They say time heals but I prefer to think it has actually just taught me how to deal. We are all thrown curve balls in life and regardless of what you are thrown there is always someone out there with a much curvier road to travel. Appreciate life. LIVE. Be free. Hug your kids. Acknowledge your parents. Be thankful for your family. Give time to your friends. Above all else LOVE and allow yourself to be loved, even when you cant love yourself.
