So I have to share this because if it helps any up and coming musician, singer or songwriter then it was worth my effort to write it. I noticed a friend of a mutual friend posted a video of himself entitled self written song please give feedback...so I hardly EVER click on anybodys self made videos unless I know them but for some reason I felt compelled to click. Well I listened and I gave my feedback on what I would do to improve the song and how I would approach it. The dude went off on me telling me to try again when I have more musical knowledge and verbally attacked me. I even told him he had a great voice and it was a great write lol. SO the lesson here to learn is this. If you want to be better, take ANY and ALL criticism you can without being offended!! If youre going to post something publicly asking for feedback then dont expect to get 10s across the board. Only your friends will give you that!! The second lesson is this. NEVER verbally attack somebody because you just never know whom your attacking. I wont name the artist because that is not what this is about but I will only say that if I ever do hear his name again the only thing I would have to say is that he has a horrible attitude. Shame on me for taking 5 minutes to help :/. 2 rules I have lived by my entire career have really helped me along. 1. Play every show like its your last 2. Be cool to everyone cuz you just never know.
