So I have vertigo. And a great big issue with one of my kids. Really big--one of those where you need your friends to NOT talk about it so you can feel normal, ya know? So, on my way to court this morning, my rear driver side brakes were literally clanking and clawing all the way from my house to Van Nuys. First, I worried about whether I was going to die on the way when my car turned into an inferno, and second, I was worried that i was going to be late for court and not be there for my kid. It totally sucks either way, you know? So fast forward: I have a rental car. I just had an amazing massage that made the vertigo ever so much better, surprisingly. I have a bottle of wine, a gorgeous evening, and Im resolving to stay normal. Court was what it was.... and I can finally begin to deal with that. But really, lets not talk about it. Thanks to my dear dear friends Marla Ulmer and Marshelle Giggles-Mills and Jessica Worland for all of the love. And to my family- Caitlyn Ryan, Emily Savethebees Ryan, Pat Ryan. Not sure i could do any of this without you all.
