So, I havent told many people, but I got a promotion at work a while back. I am now managing two offices; one here in Hot Springs and a practice we merged with in Rapid City. We have 4 additional staff up there and 3 additional doctors. Its coming along quite nicely and I kept telling myself that this was all happening for a reason. Well, heres what Ive come up with so far. The sunrises are amazing on the drive up. I get some time to myself to think (and sing, ya, mostly just sing) The staff up there are very eager to learn and welcome me every time Im there. The doctors are amazing and I couldnt ask for better people to work for. I get to have lunch dates with friends up there. I can swing by a store and pick something up if our stores dont have something I need. Change is always good. I have the support of my previous boss (now 25% partner) all the way. (hes the one who said that I was the girl to do this job...I even had to interview for it. I dont think Ive let them down yet.) This requires one on one time with Billy and Tyler because I dont get home until late. My family is supportive of this whole thing. and one of my favorite reasons....I ALWAYS call at least one person from my family on my way home.
