So I hear that LOTS of kittens are being adopted. Couldnt be happier---after all, I, ZUKO, was a kitten once myself, but that was then.....Now Im a two year old boy, and when the good folks at the shelter found me I was a mess: covered with oil from head to toe, sores, scrapes, the works. I dont want you to feel sorry for me, because I was one of the lucky ones. I was rescued from a life on the streets, was cleaned up, am all healed and patiently waiting for my best friend to come along and give me a real home. The point is, there are over forty grown cats at the shelter right now ranging in age from one year to eleven years. Many of us were strays, some of us were surrendered by owners who said they could no longer keep us; but ALL of us are awesome and deserving of loving, forever homes. Please dont overlook us because were no longer kittens.
