So I heard a very disturbing story on the radio yesterday, and I wanted to share it with you guys. This story is an example of how racial hate goes both ways, but media portrayal does not. The outline of the story; 4 black men beat, rape, mutilates, and murders a white couple in cold blood. Have you heard about this? I highly doubt you have, considering it happened in 2007. One night in 2007, a couple (Channon Christian and Hugh Newsom) left their apartment and were headed to a friend’s house to watch of movie. They got in their car and were violently jumped by 4 black men in the parking lot. They were bound and gagged and tossed in the trunk of their own car. The next thing they see is an unfamiliar house, which turns out to be the house of one of the attackers. They were taken inside and beaten brutally before the worst part happened. The men proceeded to blindfold and tie up Hugh, then took him to a set of nearby railroad tracks. There they shot him once in the back of the neck and once in the back, but he was still alive. His last moments were spent lying paralyzed on a set of train tracks, only before they shot him in the head. The men wanted all evidence of his body to be destroyed, so they covered his body in gasoline and set him ablaze. The 4 men then walked back to the house where a woman was guarding Channon, making sure she didn’t go anywhere. They beat her and mutilated her body, then began violently raping her. Reports I have read told that she was raped with various items around the house including knives, scissors, and a broken chair leg. She was just strong enough to pull herself across the kitchen floor, leaving a thick blood trail behind her. Realizing that their DNA was on her body, they began scrubbing her body with bleach, severely burning her. After that, they also realized their DNA was on the inside of her body. They then poured bleach down her throat. Bleeding, throat burning, and beaten within an inch of her life, they wrapped her in a plastic trash bag and dumped her body in a dumpster, but she was still alive. She later died, from suffocation. The 4 men were arrested and convicted, but did you ever hear about this? A total cold blooded killing, purely because of race, and we never heard a word from the media. Racial hate goes both ways. This is a serious problem in our country, and kids who only listen to what the media says to them are making it even worse. Trayvon Martin was shot in self defense, and there were riots and violence everywhere. These 2 innocent people were killed in cold blood, and you have never heard about it. RESEARCH IT.
