So I heard movie critic Arch Campbell say today that he would NOT go see the new thriller No Good Deed, starring Taraji P. Henson and Idris Elba, because the movie showed violence being perpetrated against women. He says the movie was poorly timed and shouldve been postponed because of the recent media coverage of domestic abuse. Turns out, the movies female lead (Henson) was a District Attorney who had helped prosecute men who were guilty of domestic abuse. So was the movie poorly timed, or right on time? By the way, the movie was great.
