So...I heard myself giving a shoutout on SL Live Radio this evening, and right after that, I heard the song, Sky Scraper by Demi Lovato and thought how empowering it was when she talks about rising above her obstances, and how symbolic that is for my Thanksgiving and what a whirlwind this year has been. I dont consider myself anyone special in Second Life, so hearing myself on the radio is a bit out of place for me, Im just a regular person who believed in something just like you. So what I am getting at is, this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my dreams coming into reality with Cultured The Magazine, all of my staff, my best friend and business partner Zephyr Windgate, my awesome lady layout director Cyntia Ara, all the wonderful partners, advertisers, and readers, you guys are truly the ones making it happen. I am also thankful for my expanding network of people who make my Second Life worth it every single day. There is way too many names to list, I need more than 50 tags or whatever the max is in FB hehe. I am also thankful for my wonderful family in SL, that being my little brother, Wyatt Amakura Battitude-Babii, as well as my fantastically supportive network of family, friends, and boyfriend, Kevin Resident in real life. Theyve literally CARRIED me these past few months, Id be nowhere without them, especially my mom. She is literally like my best friend. My cat is also my best friend. And funny enough, my true best friend, non-family and non-feline lives under my roof in the spare bedroom so we get to spend time together whenever we want, and I am also thankful for that as well. I know I am blessed to have support in not only SL but RL for Cultured The Magazine, and it makes me so happy. Happy Thanksgiving all, to anyone who reads this, you have my heart.
