So I hired a party planner. Sorry, not sorry. I am now the proud owner of a 1yo, 2yo and 3yo. Not to mention 41yo. In an age of pinning and etsying I must admit an initial bit of mothers guilt in not doing it all on my own. I felt like I maybe wasnt mom enough. However as the party approached I was able to concentrate on things at home and to enjoy my little time off with the kids. The day of there was no running around to make sure the house, kids, husband and party prep were on point. While there I actually got to talk to people...gasp! So with this said. I urge you other busy moms out there to accept that sometimes handing over the reigns actually makes you a better mom. You are present at your own party. Last but far from least, Candice, you are amazing! You exceeded our expectations twenty fold. You took our theme and nailed it. I couldnt have down that if I etsied or pinned the crap out of it. And the cake...o.m.g. the cake. I dont know what was better- how adorable it was or the taste! Sending anyone and everyone your way girl!
