So I just bought my 1.8t yesterday, had my mechanic check it out and everything was great on it. Drove it around all day and it was fine then all of a sudden check engine light came on and it started bogging down a bunch. Anytime I go over like 2k rpms the turbo wont kick in like its supposed to and it bogs really bad and I can smell exhaust in the cabin while driving. Plus it sounds really loud and raspy. I had autozone pull the code and they said the exhaust is running lean. Said its probably an exhaust leak, not getting enough fuel pressure, o2 sensor or the maf is clogged. Im assuming its an exhaust leak since I can smell it in the cabin. Anyone have this problem before?
