So I just finished Autumns morning meds 4 1/2 hours later & the poor Punky is still at a residual of 50! She isnt supposed to be more then 20. Her tummy is bloated & so slow moving. Im going to give her liquid glycerin to help move things along hopefully & help her residuals & give her relief. Im literally administering meds every 1-2 hours right now. Im really avoiding the hosp bc she NEVER does well there & always declines & our 1-2 day stay always turns into 3-4 week stay or longer. Hopefully, the correct hospital that has her right tube can get her in no later then Tuesday bc I dont think her tummy can take much more of this. Its so heartbreaking. If this cant be done in the next day or so then Im going to request rectal, IV, & topical cream meds to help illuminate so much in her tummy until they can get her tube changed & hopefully avoid a hosp stay. I will be starting her afternoon meds here in a hour..... Poor Punky!
