So I just finished How to train your dragon 2; with the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerald Butler, and Craig Ferguson. Ah a sequel, so going in; I have certain bar to reach. Really all sequels do. Take Star wars and Empire Strikes back for example, in the first film, you have to introduce the characters and the stakes of the film, and the change made in the film to the main character. How Luke goes from farm boy to star fighter, so the next film the stakes have to go up with, maybe a bit sadness to mix things up. So back to our sequel, it was good... Not better than the original but on par. Hiccup and Toothless bring back their brand of sassy practical joking to the mix as they try to expand the known land and dragon collection. They then stumble on other dragon riders, not the shared loving back at home, but dragons built only for war. These dragon riders are hell bent on controlling all of the beasts in the world.
