So I just gotta say it. The world feels pretty unsettled right now. All the despair can be overwhelming to a sensitive soul like mine. Tears (and some fear might I add) come easily for me as I feel the sorrow from all sides and all people. I feel so deeply guided by my new work ...as if Ive been preparing for this all my life. To hold the hope of what can be and is...in the Language found in our Red Boot Coalition 11 steps. The miracle lives there somewhere. I was interviewed last night by a news station in Missouri specifically about the potential of the Red Boot Coalition to bring hope, healing and love to this fractured, fearful and painful dialogue and community. I was shaking as I spoke. This is big stuff. Globe shaking stuff that rocks us all at our core. I am going out on a limb and tenderly asking those of you reading this to help spread the word. The world yearns...cries actually...for a new way to talk with each other. To see ourselves in the face of those not like us. To see and be our beautiful, messy, imperfect humanity...together. And so I ask...wont you please like our Facebook Page (The Red Boot Coalition) and share this post to let others know about the love and compassion that can be found within the dialogue of a Red Boot Meeting and way of life. I just dont know how much more of this the tender-hearted of the world can take. On the other hand I believe it will be the tender hearted who can turn it around.
