So I just had a happy realization. So we have been working hard in our first week with Asylum 2. Its an excellent program, but Im just not connecting with it because my fitness isnt there yet. I know this because instead of hitting every move Im dragging behind barely able to keep up. Whats happening is now that my workout isnt as fun and sweat drenchingly hard as they were. I just dont think Im ready which is a happy accident. Why? Because it means I can finally tell what my body loves and responds to. I have the confidence to know when I need to step back and take it to where I know I can be successful. Which proves that you should do what makes you happy and challenges you, not just whats popular or what you think is insane. Sometimes you need to go back to basics. So back to Asylum 1 we go. Whats cool about this is at the end of Asylum 1, I was seeing extreme changes in my fitness, body, strength...which means I started mastery...but then changed it up. So I wanna go back so that when I finish I can say I nailed it everytime and now Im ready for Asylum 2. So it makes me happy to know Ive made it over that hump with my fitness. It is a priority and a project that I am enjoying to the fullest. I hope everyone gets to this place...and they can if they work hard enough :)
