So I just opened a gate, started to walk forward & heard a whisper - TopicsExpress

So I just opened a gate, started to walk forward & heard a whisper Hey. Then twice...& can swear that there was no human surrounding. I turned around, continued forward and listened deeper. It was like the tone of this whisper was very playful like of a grown female. I wasnt sure what to make of it and havent experience many whispers like this, but what I did feel was a rush of energy and a feeling of openness. After many walks in the neighborhood of picking up local sticks to help keep the mighty fire rolling, I decided to grab the Recycling bin this time & gather kinda like a squirrel at this time of year. Theres always the initial inner-laugh of walk will neighbors think of me carrying this around, but thats what keeps things interesting in life. The 1st neighbor I passed stopped me & without knowing offered to fill the bin with his fresh cut redwood stack & fill all the wood you can carry. I then remarked Im not sure if you know how strong I am ( after just having a workout at the gym). He smirked & said no really go ahead. So I filled it to the brim, whispered thank you as he departed. We happen to someone end up with 2 recycle bins in the house, so I looked at the other empty one since we hardly buy packaged products with recycled goods, decided to fill this one up to. This time I ended up meeting a very sweet neighbor who I probably wouldnt have. This house in particular was known for leaving bundles of sticks out near the sidewalk we we would often harvest. She raised her voice and said we were wondering who would grab the fallen sticks with a smirk & said thank you for helping their yard. Then I crossed the street, met another neighbor who saw me harvesting. She said: look up...this tree is dying & is why so many branches are falling and will be probably dropping the rest soon. So I glanced up, saw a very mighty beautiful tree whispered thank you, turned back to the neighbor and said...well we are keeping her fire alive thinking there is no end, just a big circle of life that keeps on growing. The last neighbor who saw me next door gave a funny look & decided not to engage, walking back to the home. Last but not least, I saw an older woman with a bright red sweater looking in recycling bins for bottles to cash in on. I happened to have my wallet in my hand about to make a call, took out the rest of the cash I had & without a thought handed it to her. At first she looked confused as she was just on the hunt for recycles. She took at couple steps, faced me & said you know what? This really helps me...Thankyou & kept on her way. What I have learned here is a cycle...there can be a cycle of openness & happiness which we all have the power to keep this fire alive. For the longest time I would look at the 1st houses redwood ginormous pile of firewood & could not think about thoughts of hording & ...thats way too much for 1 house. Today taught me to hold no grudge, expectations and preliminary thoughts that do no serve. Carry you heart with courage, walk in this world so your spirit can be seen, break the barriers, be open to the #mystery, listen, give, believe & love. Tonight, abundance feels like a river #current. May we open the gateway to this river so we can all swim as a #family.
