So, I just saw a post on a board I will not mention that referred to those of us who convert matchbox vehicles as 15mm leaches who will ultimately cause the failure of 15mm by not supporting the legitimate producers. I have to call bullshit on this! I, and I assume many of you, merely compliment our forces with matchbox vehicles. Hell, I know I am able to afford more than I normally would from the legitimate producers because I can get 5 hummers for $5...then I can afford bigger tanks, vehicles and infantry from the companies that I love. Plus, many of the producers like, Rebel Minis, create awesome conversion kits which inspire my purchases of those kits especially to convert my store bought finds. I guess Im wondering; do any of you legitimate producers feel slighted, or in any way feel that we as converters are destroying the hobby? Honestly, all of my hobby dollars go into 15mm and BattleTech, and I try to support the 15mm community to the max. Just wondering if this is a growing popular belief.
