So I just watched Mud with Matthew McConaughey. I went into this movie knowing next to nothing about it. I do remember when it came out in theaters but didnt know enough to go see it. I am fine with the choice because it played out fine on TV. Some movies you miss the the effect on the small screen. Like Gravity for instance would blow you away on the big screen, not so much on a TV. But I digress. I guess I can describe this movie as like Sling Blade. Very Southern accents (it takes place in Arkansas), older man befriends two boys. The acting was superb. The story wasnt rushed. I cant decide if it was slow or not though. I am going to watch it again and decide. I dont want to describe it any more so you want see anything coming anymore than I did. But I could easily recommend this movie. Nothing after the credits.
