So I just went to see the movie Gods Not Dead and absolutely LOVED - TopicsExpress

So I just went to see the movie Gods Not Dead and absolutely LOVED it, but not for the usual reasons that make me love a movie. It has no dramatic FX or spectacular acting... on the contrary, some of the actors actually do some pretty poor acting, but thats SO not important or even the point of this movie. Gods Not Dead is ALL about the massage, and the message was delivered beautifully. I was so happy to see people coming in droves, literally packing the theatre, and then everyone spontaneously bursting into applause at the end. It was so nice to feel that unity with complete strangers again, reminiscent of the unity we all felt after 911. You could just tell that everyone in the theatre was thinking YEAH! Its about time a movie defending God came out! It was awesome. :-) On a related side note, last night I got caught up in a highly annoying debate on FB with several atheists, one of which was the most condescending and arrogant person I have ever conversed with. All I was doing was challenging any atheist/agnostic to go see this movie. I even offered to pay for their tickets if it meant getting them there, but they would have nothing to do with it. Of course, when I said What are you afraid of? it didnt go over very well... lol. But at the very least, the seed was planted. I told them about the well over 4,000 Must Go reviews on Fandango by movie goers who were both believers and atheists alike. I also told them about the reviews on Fandango from atheists who actually became believers BECAUSE of that movie! (TRUE STORY!) Anyway, I love seeing all these pro-God movies coming out left and right. Isnt it ironic? At a time when the media and atheists would like us to believe that the number of people of faith is at an all time low and declining, 3 huge Christian movies come out on the big screen one right after the other: Son of God, Gods Not Dead and Heaven is Real comes out in April. Does anyone else find that amazing besides me? I mean, when was the last time that happened? I truly think it is an act of God. I feel like its His way of telling us that at He is coming, sooner than any of us think.
