So, I just wonder...Dont want the question answered. For days and weeks, the Market Basket Company is devaluing, due to lost (customers) revenue, reputation, cost of keeping stores open, spoiled food, paying wages when people are unable to work, and NOW lawsuits among other costs. MB has to pay a team of attorneys to fight those lawsuits, most likely pay the plaintiffs and the trouble they caused. There may be many more to follow. That means more $ out of the pockets of the MB company. Now the company has been further devalued. Do the lawsuits stay with the MB company (and whoever buys it), or does the lawsuit stay with the named defendants of the board of MB? Is ARTIE T.S offer too much at this point, given that they are losing 10 million per day plus pending and future lawsuits? SHOULD this be his last offer, now that the company is losing value daily while the board drags its feet? So now lets see if the BOD of MB is going to make (not only the competitors) the lawyers rich too?
