So, I know I havent done any personal posts lately, but I need to vent a little. I found the car that someone stole a few weeks ago, with literally no help from the police (my father actually found it, which earned him not one but two interrogations in the same day). Actually, the police just managed to make everything worse in about every way possible, all while dropping the ball at every step of the investigation that couldve been handled better by any long term viewer of Law and Order. Today, I was interrogated for close to an hour, and accused of some of the most insulting and far flung assumptions Ive ever heard, as well as being threatened with about 3 different types of charges, all for REPORTING MY CAR STOLEN. The worst part is that the car was about 4 blocks from where it was stolen, and had, according to an eyewitness, had been there the entire time. Maybe if they had ever thought to drive to the scene of the crime, they might have driven past it. Instead they were too busy victim shaming because I have a (quite short) record. In the end, not only was reporting my car stolen not worth the time, it actually caused waaaaay more problems than it solved. And believe me, Im only scratching the surface of everything that was wrong with this case here. \rant over/
