So I know this girl really well, shes a single mum, works full time, has a house to run, doesnt get any help from the dad! She gets up in the morning at 6am has a brew to get her ready for the day ahead, gets ready for work and wakes her son at 7am. She struggles to get him ready in time because he has behavioural problems and kicks off at the slightest thing, but she stays calm and gets through it! She takes him to breakfast club, gives him a kiss and a cuddle and tells him how much she loves him! She sets off to work with a lump in her throat knowing she wont see him now for another 9 and a half hours! She does her graft at work trying her best to get her targets so she has a bonus in January to take her son abroad for a nice holiday :) she cant wait for that clock to hit 5pm so she can get in her car and go collect her son, even though she knows she will get bad news about his day at school, because he doesnt just have behavioural problems...he has learning difficulties too! But when she sees his face, her face lights up! She gets told what has happened that day and puts the necessary actions in place (i.e grounded) she gets home feeling tired and cooks the tea, through the tantrums, she makes meat and veg making sure her boy is having the right stuff to grow big and strong! Then comes bed time! She warns him 10 minutes in advance but still has to deal with the tantrums 10 minutes later! She tries her best to stay calm even though her son is telling her that he hates her and wants to go live with his dad...who does NOTHING for him! She finally gets him to sleep! She then gets her p.js on and climbs into bed herself feeling exhausted! She cries! She gets messages from her friends saying how shit their day has been and she still finds the strength to give them advise and comfort them! She walks round with a smile on her face no matter what mood she is in or what shes going through! Moral of the story...there is no moral! This is my life and I love my son with all my heart even with his floors! Life is too short to moan about anything especially your children! Love them, protect them, cherish them!
