So... I know this is a controversial topic and I really dont care to hear back lash. I am looking for people to back me up and believe in something that really needs to be done for the protection of our children. I have talked to several people on the board of education as well as running for the board of education about bus safety and making it a law to get seat belts on the bus. My daughter was just involved in the bus accident and was hurt (not with minor injuries). I believe that as a car, plan or any motor vehicle, a bus should also have seat belts as well as a safety monitor to assist the bus driver by keeping the kids under control. At this point the school as had someone come in a put a seat belt on my daughters wheel chair- she wouldnt be in a wheel chair even temporarily if the bus would have had seat belts. If anyone is interested in pursuing this fight with me, please let me know, message me!! Thank you in advance for any help!!!
