So I lost a facebook friend who defended St. Augustine and his concept of original sin to me. The concept of original sin is without a doubt the most virulent thought ever conceived. Original Sin is the antithesis of evolutionary biology where those who survive are the most evolutionary fit and carry the success of their ancestors within them. The idea that someone is born into sin is not only nonsense it is the justification behind the murder of roughly six million women by Christian Churches both Protestant and Catholic over 300 years during the burning years.
