So I made a 60 dollar mistake that was actually a 100 dollar mistake but cost the place I work 60 dollars. Instead of hiding it, which i could have done EASILY, I told my boss about it. When he went to write out my check for the week, he told me hes taking it out of my pay. I wasnt mad at him, I made a stupid mistake. When he wrote out my check, he wrote me the same amount I get every week, told me this is with the reduction - I got a hundred dollar pay raise. It may not seem like much to the rest of yall but it means the world to me and I got all in my feels over it. I think honesty is the best route to take and for today at least, I sure am glad I am the way I am.
