So I made a page....horray! Im sitting in the parking lot if service Canada in surrey waiting for my dad, hes submitting some papers to the government in regards to being retired or some sort...was just shopping for some stuff for Lydia. Her Christmas concert at school is this thursday(tickets are sold out or else I would have invited everyone I know lol)and I needed to find her a white top and a black skirt. This will make her look like shes in a uniform, kinda boring. Not to worry I bought her some zany Christmas themed hair accessories to spice it up(will post pics later). As I wandered through the mall with my dad, I couldnt help but think of what a consumer society we live in. It was so early in the morning and there were already ppl out rushing around trying to get their Xmas shopping done. What a frenzy. Its amazing I even celebrate Xmas considering the fact that I work in retail and well, Xmas for a retail manager is frankly the worse time of the year not the most wonderful. Ppl are angry, irritable and downright rude. I still try to look on the bright side an joke about it, especially with my colleagues. We simply roll our eyes and laugh at the angry customers sputtering and fuming because they arent getting what they want right now. Sigh. The payoff is Honolulu is January with Lydia and my mom. Yes girls trip to Hawaii, Lydias first airplane ride and all of our first time ever to Hawaii I cant wait! I am so stoked I bought a $40 bathing suit for Lydia! YOLO lol More later gotta drive to pick up the munchkin from school now đź’ś
