So, I made this startling observation...and will be working to document it on video... I am currently keeping a nuc on top of a freezer on my front porch...the entrance is faced away from the front door and the back has a 2-3 inch circle screened vent, facing my door.... so, I go outside and the bees are doing orientation flights, bunches of them...nothing out of the ordinary, but when I look into the ventilation hole in the back, I see the bees doing this crazy erratic dance movement inside the hive....all of them!!! of course, I had no phone to video it, but I will be waiting with camera next time..... Anybody else have any idea what I saw?
